Carey August, MD, FCAP, has recently retired. She served as Chairman of Pathology and Medical Director of Laboratories at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago as well as Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. August received her bachelor’s degree from Yale College and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Her main professional interests during her 35 years in practice included Gynecological and Breast Pathology.
