Dr. Carey August, President of the Board of Directors of the College of American Pathologists Foundation, serves as Chairman of Pathology and Medical Director of Laboratories at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago as well as Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at Rosalind Franklin University. She currently serves on the Board of Governors of the College of American Pathologists as well as several of its councils and committees. Dr. August received her bachelor’s degree from Yale College and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Her main professional interests include Gynecological and Breast Pathology.
