NORTHFIELD, Ill., Mar. 23, 2023—The College of American Pathologists (CAP) is renaming the electronic Cancer Checklists (eCC) and the electronic Forms and Reporting Module (eFRM) products to CAP electronic Cancer Protocols (eCP).
The eCP as well as a version powered by mTuitive continue to integrate into most laboratory information system (AP-LIS) workflows, ensuring laboratories create the highest quality cancer reports following the latest standards and guidelines to support improved patient care. This name change does not impact the functionality of the electronic protocols nor their availability to licensed users.
The CAP releases new and updated electronic Cancer Protocols templates quarterly coordinating with the posting of new and revised Cancer Protocols and Cancer Biomarker Reporting Templates.
