How I told my mom I have breast cancer

Jeannie Blaylock shares the moment she told her mom about her breast cancer and looks at her own cancer under a microscope to see what catching it early means. Shadi Qasem, MD, MBA, FCAP,  showed Blaylock what it looked like under the microscope. Dr. Qasem said, "Some of these ducts are full of tumors. They're solid." He also pointed out a key detail, saying, "If you'll notice, there are nice smooth borders to them. That's what tells us it's in situ. It's not invasive."
