"In multiple reports of SARS-CoV-2 placental infection, which has been associated with stillbirths and neonatal deaths, none of the mothers received the COVID-19 vaccine,” says Dr. Schwartz, MD, FCAP . “And while this is not proof, we are not aware of any cases of SARS-CoV-2 placental disease causing stillbirths among pregnant women after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.”
